Volunteers are always needed!

We always welcome inquiries from potential volunteers to fill openings on our team. We are most eager for volunteers who can serve on daytime shifts on weekdays or nighttime shifts on weekends. If you are at least 18 years old you can volunteer to join us.

There are a number of ways you can let us know of your interest:

• Stop at the building on Ridge Road whenever you see us there
• Talk to any of our members
• Send an email to the address below
• Download a request for membership and mail it in or drop it off at the building.

Requirements

The prerequisites for membership are:

• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to pass an 8-hour CPR course and a 120-hour EMT course.
• Ability to work one 12-hour shift (6:00 to 6:00) each week.
• Ability to work two weekend day shifts each year.
• Personal Interview.
• Good moral character.
• Adequate physical strength and stamina.
• Free from mental and psychological handicaps.
• Valid NJ driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Live or work in West Milford.
• Physical exam and Hepatitis B vaccination.
