First Aid Tips

The internet is chock full of instructional material on all sorts of topics.  This page will present links to other websites with helpful first aid information and practical tips for dealing with common first aid emergencies.  It is important to remember that you may not be able to deal with many emergencies on your own.  If you need help urgently call 9-1-1.  If it's not urgent, do NOT tie up the 9-1-1 emergency line.  Call your local police and they will send the help you need.  Remember to post the police department number next to ALL the phones in your home.

LINKS offers a look at your needs while enjoying the outdoors.  Their home page is HERE.  I found a wealth of useful information on their site and recommend that you explore it yourself.

The Mayo Clinic website covers a broad range of topics and includes detailed information on diseases, drugs, treatments, fitness recommendations, etc.  Their page on first aid tips can be found HERE.
